Do intervals: In other words, instead of jogging on the treadmill for 30 minutes, run 10 minutes and then walk for two intervals during that same time period.
Your heart rate will spike and then dip as you alternate between walking and running intervals, which helps increase your overall calorie burn.
Don’t forget about strength training: A lot of guys think lifting weights is only for women who want toned arms or abs.
But weight training can also help men lose weight by building muscle mass, which increases your body’s ability to burn fat.
A recent study found that men who did 12 weeks of resistance training lost twice as much abdominal fat as those who didn’t lift weights during that time period.
